time has passed.

and we have lived.
we've been able to have two concerts in the past few months.
which is a big deal when you're in college and time is something that is always running out.

our last concert was by far our funnest yet.
for an hour we played our hearts out for the most supportive fans known to man.

highlights:
sarah opening with spoken word
fans crowd surfing
emily singing alone for the first time
five new songs
eating an entire bag of cough drops
coming close to breaking fire code due to the amount of fans
mitchell improvising complete verses
georgina skipping complete choruses
a whole lot of screaming

we. love. our. fans.

here is a highlight video.

check out our youtube channel for full clips.

bundle up.

it's cold out there.

elephant shortcut.

that's our name.
we were "the paper birds", but due to a few unexpected events,
we're going back to "elephant shortcut".
we are happy about the decision, and are glad you still love us even when we change our name twenty times.

elephant shortcut (for reals)

well.

hey all!
hopefully these past months you have treated yourself to some warm sun and melting popsicles (maybe even a frozen grape or two... our personal favourite summer snack).

this summer has brought a lot of fun surprises. mainly, getting to record with bad sue records.
now that we have been officially recorded. we're making a few changes.

we are:

+ now and forever "Elephant Shortcut"
+ releasing our first EP at the end of the summer
+ adding a percussionist to the band (soon to be announced)
+ putting together some merch to be sold at shows
+ flooding the social media network - keep an eye out
+ soon to open our official website

but most of all - we are ready to be playing again!
so look for us in VA & UT.
contact us if you need anything at all.
elephantshortcut@gmail.com

we hope your summer is wrapping up pleasantly.
we can't wait to share wavelengths with you in the near future!
